Method 1

Add 1 glass of lukewarm water to 1 glass of Pavan Wheat Puttu Podi and mix well. Keep aside for 20 minutes. Grind the mixture and add coconut gratings to prepare steam cake.

Method 2

Step 1: Add sufficient salt to 1 cup of Pavan Wheat Puttu Podi. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of water gradually until the desired consistency is obtained. 

Step 2: Keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes. Sprinkle more water if required. Transfer the mixture into a puttu maker and layer it with grated coconut.

Step 3: Place the puttu maker on a pressure cooker or steaming vessel and steam for about 3–5 minutes. Hot Pavan Wheat Puttu is ready to serve.

ഒന്നാം ഘട്ടം:

 ഒരു കപ്പ് പവൻ ഗോതമ്പു പൊടിയിൽ ആവശ്യത്തിന് ഉപ്പു ചേർത്ത് അര ഗ്ലാസ് വെള്ളം തളിച്ച് പാകത്തിന് കുഴച്ചെടുക്കുക. 

രണ്ടാം ഘട്ടം: 

10 മിനിറ്റിനു ശേഷം ആവശ്യമെങ്കിൽ കൂടുതൽ വെള്ളം ചേർത്ത് ഈ മിശ്രിതം ചിരകിയ തേങ്ങയും ചേർത്ത് പുട്ടുകുറ്റിയിൽ നിറക്കുക. 

മൂന്നാം ഘട്ടം: 

പുട്ടുകുറ്റി ഒരു പ്രഷർ കുക്കറുമായോ പുട്ടുകുടവുമായോ ഘടിപ്പിച്ചു 3 - 5 മിനിറ്റ് നേരം വേവിക്കുക. ചൂടുള്ള പവൻ ഗോതമ്പ് പുട്ടു തയ്യാർ.
